Richard Olsen, Chair

Richard Olsen has a degree in economics from Oxford University and a Ph.D. in Law. He is an internationally renowned economic researcher in the area of high-frequency finance. An overview of some of his contributions can be found in his book An Introduction to High-Frequency Finance. He founded Olsen Associates, which spun off a number of companies in addition to OANDA, including Olsen Financial Technology and Olsen Invest.

Michael Stumm

Michael Stumm has a Ph.D. in computer science and is a computer engineering professor at the University of Toronto, one of the top ten such departments in the world. He has authored over 80 scientific articles in leading conferences and journals. He served as CTO of SOMA Networks, another company he cofounded, from 1999-2003, and served on SOMA's board of directors from 2002-2003. His ties to the university have enabled him to attract top engineering talent.

Danny Rimer

Danny Rimer joined Index Ventures in 2002 and established the firm's London office. His investment interests include Internet infrastructure software and services, and he serves on a number of boards. Prior to joining Index Ventures, Danny was a general partner of The Barksdale Group, where he invested in a dozen companies. He holds an A.B from Harvard College. (Index Ventures bio.)

Krishna ("Kittu") Kolluri

Kittu Kolluri joined New Enterprise Associates (NEA) in 2006 as a General Partner. He focuses on information technology investments and serves on a number of boards. Kittu brings more than 17 years of experience at the leading edge of the technology industry. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, and a M.S. in Operations Research from the State University of New York, Buffalo. (NEA bio.)

Nooshin Mohtashami, Chief Financial Officer

Nooshin Mohatashami represents an OANDA success story. With a computer engineering degree and experience at several companies, she joined OANDA as a programmer in 1998. As a typical OANDA employee, she took on leadership tasks in almost every area of the company and became OANDA's financial and treasury operations wizard.

Alan Fletcher, Head of Trading

Alan Fletcher has nearly 20 years of experience in the foreign exchange market. Before joining OANDA, he served as Manager of the Treasury Department at Athenian Capital Holdings where he led the development and implementation of the department's business plan. His extensive background includes senior positions at Linnco Europe Ltd., ABN/AMRO Ltd., Tokai Bank Ltd., Midland Bank Plc., and National Bank of Kuwait.

Michael Borland, Compliance Officer and General Counsel

Before joining OANDA in 2005, Michael Borland had 18 years of legal and management experience in the IT sector with the Canadian and Americas divisions of several Fortune 100 companies, including Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard Company. Michael has a B. Comm. degree from the University of Toronto and a LL.B in law from the University of Western Ontario.

Tony Savor, Head of Engineering

Tony Savor is responsible for the engineering and operations for OANDA's platforms. Before joining OANDA in early 2007, Tony was VP of System Engineering for the next generation of products at SOMA Networks. Tony has a Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, and is an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto.

Natasha Lala, Chief Customer Officer

Natasha Lala manages customer-facing departments at OANDA, including the customer service and white label teams. She joined OANDA in 2003 and brings extensive experience from SOMA Networks and IBM, where she led client-facing projects and advocated for clients in the CRM, telecom, and financial industries. She has a degree in computer engineering from the University of Toronto.
