EU Euro Over Night Index Average
Known as the EONIA, the Euro Overnight Index Average is the weighted average of the overnight interest rate charged for unsecured loans provided through the EU overnight bank lending system. Together with the EURIBOR, it makes up the two primary short-term interest rate benchmarks that influence most of EU interest rates.
