Marginal Lending Rate
EU Marginal Lending Rate
The Marginal Lending Rate is the interest rate charged by the Eurosystem's Marginal Lending Facility through which banks can borrow overnight funds from the European Central Bank (ECB). Together with the Deposit Rate and the Main Refinancing Rate, the Marginal Lending Rate comprises the primary tools available to the ECB for shaping the Eurosystem's monetary policy.
