Are you using the right login page?

Are pop-ups enabled?
You need to enable pop-up windows for the fxTrade and fxTrade Practice trading platforms. If pop-ups are blocked, some platform windows (such as help button windows or dialog boxes) won't appear.
Is Java installed?
Note: Internet Explorer users may be affected by a December 31, 2007 change in Microsoft Java support.
In order to allow our customers to trade from anywhere in the world the fxTrade platform is implemented entirely using Java.

Have you cleared your cache? Rebooted?
One of the most common problems our users experience is that their Java Cache has become corrupted. Please follow our instructions on how to clear your cache. Please don't forget to close all of your browser windows once you have done that.
If clearing your cache does not solve the problem, please reboot your computer before proceeding to the next step to allow your system to be in a 'clean' state.
Can you access secure pages?
Your login to the fxTrade platform is protected by industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption. When you click on the test link, your browser will attempt to open an SSL protected page. If you don't see a "Congratulations" message within a few moments, you will need to enable 128-bit SSL encryption in your browser.
Does the OANDA Java Test Applet work?
The OANDA Java Test Applet tests your computer for basic Java support and connectivity to our servers. If all tests fail then it is likely that you are behind a firewall that is blocking port 443, or the network connection to the server is severely degraded. If you are certain that your system should be able to connect please copy the contents of the Test Applet window and send them to technical support.
Does the fxTrade loading bar appear?
Once the Platform is downloaded, a loading bar should appear and count up to 100%. If the loading bar remains a gray box or stops before the 100% mark, please contact technical support. In order to facilitate a prompt response from our support team, try to provide as much information as you can. Please include the contents of your Java Console if possible.

Microsoft Windows users can visit Windows Update to update their Web Browser and Operating System.
Apple MacOS X users can use the Software Update feature in the System Preferences panel.
