Troubleshooting - Cache
One of the most common problems our OANDA fxTrade users experience is caused by a corrupted cache.
Follow these directions to clear your computer's Java plug-in cache.
Windows and Linux

Close all OANDA applications.

Open your Java Plug-in Control Panel.
Windows - Navigate to Control Panel > Java Plug-in.
Linux - Navigate to System > Preferences > Java Control Panel.

On the General tab under Temporary Internet Files, click View...

From the Show menu, select Applications. Select all OANDA applications from the list that appears and click the red X to remove these items.

From the Show menu, select Resources. Select all OANDA resources from the list that appears and click the red X to remove these items.

From the Show menu, select Deleted Applications. Select all OANDA applications from the list that appears and click the red X to remove these items.




Mac OS X

Close all OANDA applications.

Navigate to HD > Applications > Utilities > Java Preferences.

On the Network tab, click View Cache Files...

From the Show menu, select Applications. Select all OANDA applications from the list that appears and click the red X to remove these items.

From the Show menu, select Resources. Select all OANDA resources from the list that appears and click the red X to remove these items.

From the Show menu, select Deleted Applications. Select all OANDA applications from the list that appears and click the red X to remove these items.
