Challenge for you: account management

Dear Traders and Investors,

I do not remember for how long I have a very small account on Oanda. I opened this account years ago in order to try out different trading strategies and find a best one for me. Please note: I absolutely believe that one can earn lot of money if this one has good forex trading skills.

I tried all possible forex systems which I could find. Except of scalping and intraday trading as I have no time to watch the screen on daily basis.
I must say that the market beat me and I have no strategy which could bring me any sustained success. I had a relative success with one system which I developed myself but the system failed after 6 months of relative success.

Yet, I think there are skillful people out there who can trade better than me.

I am looking for someone who will take up the challenge under these conditions:

I will give to him or her my account for management for two months. The sum to manage is very small, a bit more than 120 dollars.

When you are successful with your trading after two month I will increase the amount of the invested sum to 1000 US Dollar. After 4 months of successful trading I will go up to 1500, after six months to 2000. Have you traded successfully 12 months with this money I will go up to 10000 USD for next year.

Have you traded with 10000 successfully for that year I will go up to 100000. Is the third year successful you will get much more (let that be a surprise for you).

So, is someone out there to take up on the challenge?

I don’t care how often do you trade, what is your method and what you do.

How I measure success: well, every return above 0 will be a good thing. I am happy with 12 percent return in 12 months.

How do I pay you? If you earn between 1 and 12 on yearly basis, I will pay you 25 percent of gains.
If you earn between 12 and 30 percent yearly, I will give 30 percent of gains.

If you earn between 30 and 50 percent, I will give you 40 percent.

If you earn above 50 percent, I will give you 50 percent of earnings.

Last thing: if you will lose 10 percent of the sum on the account, I will finish the collaboration.

If you are interested, please post here.

Thanks…

Challenge for you: account management

This actually sounds interesting as OPM involved even small amount. Still it is OPM. I would take on this challenge but I am no longer trade with Oanda. I am actually planning to open live FXPrimus account and I trade only Oil. The problem is that on FX Primus minimum size is $0.1 per pip. which makes it impossible to trade $120. I am depositing $1000-1100 sometime this month and going to start trading in July/ August.
$1000 is actually the smallest amount that can be traded and it is very small actually but manageble. The thing is that i trade with taking partial profits hence more than 1 position is opened. 2-3. Risk obviously can be adjusted like 1-2% per trade. Considering how oil moves and limit to open smaller sizes like with Oanda doe snot allow even smaller risks.

No problem Deleos, I am sure someone will pop up here. I think it is actually a very good idea you have got.
It can marry in longer term people with money to prospective and emerging good fund manager.
Considering that people with money are usually risk averse it also makes it easier on trader as trader can trade with smaller risk.
Good idea.

Challenge for you: account management

I actually never was a fan of Forex. Simply in Forex I could trade small money with Oanda while tarding stocks or futures would require a lot more funds just to start and they do not offer demo trading for any reasonable time to learn if 1-2 weeks can be called sufficient time. It's a joke. No wonder why people lose all their money.
So, I started trading Forex and learning gradually, the most important getting psychology right and working on method.
But I was always facinated with oil and read book about those Numex and Chicago pit traders.
I also always have been interested in energy as it is the real foundation of our civilization and oil looks like the most important commodity there is.
Another thing is Forex being traded 24/7 which I dislike. I want to have a life and do not wnat to watch it around the clock. I wanted to trade something that is traded on exchanges mostly cause it is when it is the most active.
Oil, stocks. I trade my few hours and I am done.
One more thing. My working shedule changed in December 2010 and I found myslef unable to day trade Forex. I never traded New York session due to too many news. and I could not tarde London either because the way Forex moves. And as soon as I found out that I actually can trade oil with FXPrimus just like forex on MT4, I made a decision. But I did not have any account there, only with Oanda and I did not know how oil moves. Hence started with demo.
That's all [Smile]

Are you now trading oil on fxPrimus live account?
If yes, then - are demo charts & demo spreads & demo trading_times the same as those for live accounts?

No, I am in the process of registering Live account. Hence I am thinking what option of spread to choose. They have fixed spread 5 pips. ECN usually 3+1 pip and was 4+1 this Friday and variable which I have never checked but going to do next week.
I traded FXPrimus live last summer but currencies and fixed spread. Had no problems with them.
When I was watching demo and live then I see no difference. But I am not sure about oil as I have not watched it on live yet.
