Long the Euro

Seriously guys, I think it's time to go long EUR/JPY and EUR/USD. I think the Euro will survive and become part of a new reserve currency. The current levels are purely out of whack. Long here at 99.85.

Long the Euro

I agree. Both EUR and Cable bouncing. I would be long, but have ceased trading for this year. I will take a fresh look in Jan.

If I were mean I would say "That's a sign to do the opposite". But ... sadly I'm just the total impersonation of mean.

Long the Euro

Yeah, the Euro will probably survive but it ain't gonna happen next week. This move down isn't even close to being exhausted when you look at a weekly or monthly chart. You say these levels are out whack...in comparison to what? There are reasons we are at these levels. It's not just happenstance. And until those issues start to get resolved nothing major is going to change. We have better news coming out of the US and worse news out of the EU and there are many more ticking time bombs in the EU. I am not seeing where this euro value is that you are perceiving. But having said that, don't care were it goes cuz I trade where price goes and I don't plan on vacationing anywhere in the EU soon so let it go to 2.0000 and 170.00 for all I care.

Just because you've made up your mind about something doesn't mean you should stop listening.

Long the Euro

I totally disagree with the OP.

When EJ first touched 100.00 and barely bounced up, that was a signal that EJ may be heading for the 80s.

A 30 pip bounce up on a major level like 100.00 is a sure sign of a major move below.

It already broke the 100.00 level on the retest and is heading for 99.00 over the weekend.

My reading of the charts is that in the next session, be ready to SHORT at 100.00 as EJ tries to bounce up.

Is Asia open Sunday night?

Long the Euro

in the e/u i guess there will be a small retracement, maybe around 1.3330... and then resumes its way down to 1.2250 where i think lays the real fair value of the Euro.
