Our development team is currently investigating this issue. Our investigation is showing this is likely an issue with newer versions of Java.
If you are interested, the problem presents itself exactly as what is being described here:
We are currently investigating if this issue is also present in Java 7.

With the new launcher i dont get that. But it has CPU issues..
Maybe its time to port the platform to .net or native windows. Apparently Java isnt working out for Oanda.
Or maybe its the developers - Java devs aren't exactly known for their craftiness..
It does get better when I close the platform, clear Java cache, but who wants to do that all the time...
This happens on all my computers, and on both of my ISP's.
This is the first time in 6 years that I have seen the platform as unstable as it is, it is also the first time I have felt the need to post about it on this forum.
Your comment about Java versions is not entirely true. I have degraded from v27 to v22 and while the platform seems more stable, lagging issues persist.
There seemed to have been a new platform release mid-week. Is that true? If so, why did it seem necessary to release it in the middle of one of the most volatile periods mid-week?
I hope the team takes this weekend to iron out the stability issues.
